Manga - anime - manwha/manhua

My manga-esque storyline xDD. I discovered manga fist, when my cousin lend me her manga collection when she moved to Barcelona. My fist manga was Gals! by Mihona Fujii. My first anime was Fruits Basket

Manwha was the last but not the least. I donĀ“t have printed books only in my computer. It was Love in the Mask

I think it all started with animes for me at first - when I finally learnt that anime are almost always based on manga and as soon as I got internet I was reading as many manga imaginable.

Well of course I started off watching the series but then I was curious because I heard that manga tends to be a bit different than their animated counterparts and more detailed and sometimes even have stories that the animated series left out. I went to a book store and checked out the manga section and got hooked. But there were series that I wanted to read that were not licensed yet so I was introduced to scanlations and now I prefer the scanlations over the official releases :< I am not sure why XD Perhaps because they are created by fans and have that special feeling to them? :O

I'm pretty new to manga myself: been reading them for about a year and a half. I reckon I read more manga than actual novels nowadays, although in general, I still tend to skip over the artwork and focus on the text in graphic novels.

Unfortunately, I've never had anyone to share the enthusiasm for manga with, except online. ^^;

I started reading manga when I still in elementary school, i like genre action like sailormoon, dragonball. But I realyyy fall in love with manga/manhwa when I'm @ college. With sooo many homework, while I'm bored :-), I saw mangafox ^_^v. N u know what? Now, I'm so addict. My fav manhwa by HMR's, i think her story so refreshing with romantic comedy.
